Pigment Violet 23

Pigment Violet 23 affords bluish violet shade which unique from other violet pigments, and entirely fast to many organic solvents. PV23 is used in almost all media which are typically colored with pigments. The list of suitable systems ranges from coatings and paints to plastics, printing inks, and other special purpose medias.

Application

1. Coatings: widely used for variety coatings from air drying house and trade sales paints, decorative paints to general high grade industrial finishes, such as OEM finishes, re-finishes and metallic finishes. It also used for Emulsion paints lends a reddish tinge to Phthalocyanine blue shades;

2. Plastics: widely used throughout plastics industry, especially an important colorant for PUR and transparent PS. It’s also used for spin dyeing. However, there is a tendency to bleeding in transparent soft PVC.  

3. Inks: used throughout the printing ink industry. Very fast to organic solvents and exhibit excellent application properties to soap, alkali, or fat.

4. Others: used for office articles, artists, pigmented wood stains, cleaning agents and mass colored papers.
